Tuition:
Insightful, non threatening, I am amazed at how we
progressed. I´ve had a total change of heart in terms of my
own belief in my own ability. Andy is one of the most
patient people I have had the pleasure of meeting. He has
the ability to stretch and challenge you almost without you
ever realizing.
Food: What can I say - perfect! in
every way. As I said on numerous occasions, it was
everything I would choose to cook for myself for each meal
if only I gave myself the time and importance to do it. I
felt very well looked after.
Accommodation: Warm and relaxing.
Everything was practical and worked well. The most important
thing for me was the welcoming atmosphere. I felt at ease
instantly and that made the week for me.
Other: Andy and Helen - you are an
amazingly inspirational couple. How you manage to do
everything you do with the appearance of such little fuss,
astounds me. Keep doing what you are doing and you can not
fail to make this a resounding success. I feel very
privileged to have met you both and shared time in your home

Tuition:
Extremely fairly priced. Andy and Helen both go above and

Food: Absolutely divine. Helen
could indeed add cooking instruction to her list of what´s
on offer. Each meal was freshly prepared, delicious and
always came with good company and delightful conversation.

Accommodation: The room was
absolutely perfect, the bed and linens are not only pretty
but also very comfortable. The room was quiet, private, had
plenty of space and was very clean.
Other: Andy has been an amazing
teacher for me this week. He is clear in his vision and
instruction and has gone out of his way to help get my
skills to the next level and ¨see¨what I am painting in a
way I hadn´t before. Thank you for your encouragement,
patience, humor and enthusiasm - it has truly been great!
Helen is such a joy to be around, she immediately made me
feel comfortable in her and Andy´s home and has been
extremely helpful and available for anything at all. Thank
you for all that you have done. You and Andy are a great
team, I wish you the best of luck in Alcala

I have just returned from a week in Andalucia and stayed in Alcala de los Gazules which is ten minutes from Medina Sidonia. Alcala is a thoroughly unspoilt white hill town with magnificent views. Through a huge wooden eighteenth century door there is a hidden place with lovely, simple but comfortable whitewashed rooms and hot smart showers, all en suite. There is a roof terrace with spectacular views for miles over the mountains. Well worth a slight detour.

Thank you for your wonderful hospitality and company we have had a very enjoyable week in Alcala. The tuition was really excellent because Andy explored my strengths and weaknesses and tailored the programme to address the latter and play on the former.

Andy is a first class tutor and very patient. I learned so much that I am sorry that I didn't take a tape recorder with me to remind me of everything. Alcalá is a beautiful town and you are so lucky to be living there - the people are so friendly. Your house is also very special - so well suited to its current use - I hope you will have many happy years there. The food and accommodation were simply wonderful - everything was just what I would have chosen myself, but most of all I appreciated the wonderful hospitality from both of you and the way in which I was immediately welcomed into the household as though I belonged there. I really felt amongst friends all week.

very relaxed, informal, friendly and supportive. Both Andy
and Helen go the extra mile to ensure their guests are
comfortable and am having a great holiday in Spain and
Alcala.
