Andy is a first class tutor and very patient. I learned so much that I am sorry that I didn't take a tape recorder with me to remind me of everything. Alcalá is a beautiful town and you are so lucky to be living there - the people are so friendly. Your house is also very special - so well suited to its current use - I hope you will have many happy years there. The food and accommodation were simply wonderful - everything was just what I would have chosen myself, but most of all I appreciated the wonderful hospitality from both of you and the way in which I was immediately welcomed into the household as though I belonged there. I really felt amongst friends all week.

I have just returned from a week in Andalucia and stayed in Alcala de los Gazules which is ten minutes from Medina Sidonia. Alcala is a thoroughly unspoilt white hill town with magnificent views. Through a huge wooden eighteenth century door there is a hidden place with lovely, simple but comfortable whitewashed rooms and hot smart showers, all en suite. There is a roof terrace with spectacular views for miles over the mountains. Well worth a slight detour.
