The Art Centre | Exclusive Use of the House & Studio

The Art Centre is situated in the higher part of the town below the Convent. In the 18th century the centre was an Inn for travelers and mule trains, you can still see horses and burros in the streets of the town. Its old name of Hostal Salada ( Inn of the Waters) derived from the nearby health giving springs and spa.

The lower stables area has been converted to a large art studio and work area, which is linked by arches to en-suite guest accommodation.

On the first floor guests have their own dining room and lounge. Outside there is a large terrace with splash pool shaded by the orange tree beneath part of the town’s ancient wall.

From this level one can access the spacious roof terrace giving panoramic views of the beautiful surrounding countryside and roofscape.

The Art Centre is not a group franchise. We operate on the principle of the personal, our courses are usually no larger than eight people, in order to maximise one-to-one tuition and maintain our high standards of accommodation and cuisine.
